Class Descriptions

  • Spinning

  • Yoga
    • Foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement.

  • Ballet Sculpt
    • The class builds muscular endurance through ballet-inspired moves that strengthen and lengthen multiple muscle groups.

  • Pilates
    • A method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

  • Tai Chi
    • A noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Tai Chi is different from yoga, another type of meditative movement. Yoga includes various physical postures and breathing techniques, along with meditation.

  • Mindfulness
    • The focus of the class is to open the channels of creativity through mindfulness and meditation, while learning to overcome self-judgment, and develop skills to use in practice. This class will engage and inspire while encouraging individuality and sharing.

  • Chair Yoga
    • Helps increase flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength, improves balance, and relieves stress. The class incorporates breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, and final relaxation. This class will focus on increasing strength, flexibility and balance.

  • Balance
    • This class focuses on gently strengthening the core, back and legs, which can improve stability and prevent falls. Along with strengthening memory to enhance cognitive function.

  • Zumba
    • A fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

  • Full Body Stretch
    • This class is designed to increase physical strength through weight-bearing and resistance exercises. All major muscle groups are worked from head to toe. We finish with core training and stretching for a complete workout.

  • Athletic Stretch
    • Simple, athletic-based stretches will elongate tight muscles and tight muscles increase the risk for injury.

  • Aquacise
    • This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back.
